Cummins and Bosch both recommend replacing this every time the injectors are replaced
The connector tube is responsible for transferring fuel from the injection line at the outside of the cylinder head to the fuel injector which is located in the center of the cylinder head. The connector tube fits into a tapered opening in the injector and forms a metal to metal seal. Leakage here is a common problem which causes hard start and no-start symptoms.

Studebaker trees: Dead company, living advertisement
Thu, 28 Apr 2011Some of you may have seen this already; it’s been popular on the map sites for a while. But those who don’t know about Bendix Woods County Park west of South Bend, Ind., feast your eyes on 5,000 pine trees, planted in 1937, spelling Studebaker when viewed from high enough. Bendix Woods park was formerly the Studebaker proving grounds, and much of the track surface is still visible in satellite photos.

Wed, 19 Jun 2013The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will cost £61.5k in the UK The 2014 MY Corvette Stingray arrived at the Detroit Motor Show in January, and now it’s arriving in the UK. The new Stingray comes with a 6.2 litre LT1 V8 offering a modest (for its size) 455bhp and 460ln/ft of torque, enough to get the Stingray to 60mph in under 4 seconds and, say Chevy, still offer ‘improved’ economy over the old model. In the real world, though, that probably means under 20mpg.

Sat, 05 Apr 2014Nico Rosberg pips Lewis Hamilton to pole in Bahrain. It’s already staring to look like Mercedes is going to dominate F1 in 2014, and the performance of the two Mercedes in qualifying for the 2014 Bahrain Grand Prix did nothing to change that. Essentially a duel between Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton, it was Rosberg’s turn to take pole position with Lewis Hamilton having to settle for second place on the grid after driving too deep in to a corner on his last flying lap and giving up the fight to take pole from his team mate. It was Rosberg’s second successive pole in Bahrain.
