This is a bare Dodge Dana 44 axle housing with inner axle shaft that came out of an early 80's Dodge 3/4 ton truck. This housing is in good-used condition and is the same width as the later disconnect style axles from 1985 to 1993. With the inner axle shaft that is included, you can use this kit to change your disconnect over to a solid front axle. All of the parts off of your disconnect axle can be used on this housing, all but the inner axle shafts on the disconnect side. If you don't have locking hubs I can help you with new or good used ones, just let me know and I will be glad to help you. I have a few of these housings available and listed on eBay. Mon, 10 Sep 2012Peugeot are teasing what appears to be the Peugeot Onyx Concept on their Facebook page, a hybrid supercar heading for the Paris Motor Show. We already know that production versions of the Peugeot 208 GTi and Peugeot XY luxury 208 are heading for the Paris Motor Show, but it appears Peugeot will have something a bit more dramatic on offer. Peugeot has revealed a teaser photo of a new concept car for Paris on their Facebook page this afternoon, and a bit of digging around French motoring web site turns up more detail.
Audi A1 Quattro models ‘on the way’
Wed, 12 Jan 2011Audi has confirmed it is testing four-wheel drive Quattro versions of the A1 – indicating an imminent expansion of Audi’s supermini range. Although showcased as this one-off at a Quattro publicity event in Montreal, Canada, to celebrate 30 years of the all-corner drive system, Ingolstadt acknowledged at last autumn’s 2010 Paris motor show that Quattro versions of the A1 were in the pipeline. The production A1 Quattro will use the Haldex differential to split drive to both axles; it’s a similar technology to that found in A3 and TT Quattros, as opposed to the mechanical Torsen diff found in larger Quattro models.
