this unit came out of my dodge a couple of years ago. i believe the navigation was spotty due to something with the hard drive. i had done a bunch of research at the time which told me i needed to put a new program on it. i bought the copy of the necessary file, and bought the adapter to do it, and then never got around to actually following through. these will both be included in the sale. if you're willing to do a half hour of internet research about it you could get it up and running fairly easily from what i recall. take advantage of my laziness and short attention span.

GM, Chrysler get cold shoulder from consumers, report says
Fri, 20 Mar 2009General Motors and Chrysler clearly have an image problem. In a classic case of: "It's not me--it's you," fewer consumers are considering the two Detroit automakers in the wake of their pleas for government assistance and bankruptcy rumors. The share of buyers who would make a GM car their primary choice fell 12 percent, and the share of Chrysler intenders dropped by one third, according to a study released Thursday by CNW Research of Bandon, Ore.
Video: Michael Mauer on the 991-series Porsche 911
Tue, 08 May 2012Porsche has released a video featuring its Design Director, Michael Mauer, explaining how he and his team went about redesigning the 911, an ‘automotive, engineering icon' as he describes it. "What we as designers are striving to above all is to optimize the width to height ratio with the result that although the 911's width has not increased, the front axle area has become wider, and we've managed to make the roof a bit lower," Mauer explains via a rather dramatic-sounding voiceover.
Hottest 911 ever!
Thu, 06 May 2010A few weeks back, we revealed spy shots of the next-gen Porsche 911 GT2. But now the Web is awash in reports from a Porsche dealer meeting in Germany where the company revealed the even-hotter GT2 RS. Reportedly pushing 620 hp from its turbocharged boxer-six engine, the track- and street-legal GT2 RS is said to be 200 pounds lighter than the GT2.
