**PLEASE NOTE**

This listing is for an IMPERFECT emblem overlay! That means that there is something wrong with it that will not allow us in good conscience to sell it for full price: un-even dome thickness, small bubble(s), speck(s) of dust, etc. We'd rather sell them at a drastically reduced price than toss them in the garbage!

The pic that is shown is NOT the actual emblem overlay, but it depicts the same exact style/colors that you will receive.

Please see our other items for a *PERFECT* version of this same product!

This auction is for ONE (1) DOMED emblem overlay, just like in the pics above.

The exact size of this overlay is 4.56in x 12in. It fits many models, please measure to confirm if it will fit your vehicle! ...just measure the BLUE area to find out!

These domed emblem overlays look great on just about ANY smooth surface!. Please be sure they will fit your vehicle before buying! Any questions, please ask!

These are domed, flexible, vinyl *OVERLAYS* that are designed to install over your factory Ford emblems- the factory emblems are NOT included- sorry!

Why buy FLAT, cheap "stickers" for your ride when you can have DOMED!? "Domed" (or "gel-coated") decals are VERY THICK, UV stable, polyurethane coated decals that will last for YEARS and YEARS without ever turning yellow (like epoxy does) or cracking! MUCH more durable than your typical FLAT decal, too- you will be amazed at the difference!

These are thermally printed on the best vinyl in the vehicle wrap industry (3M™ Controltac™ Plus Graphic Film with Comply™ Performance) and then gel-coated ("domed") with clear polyurethane for durability and high quality OEM look! Other sellers have sold you flat overlays that can't be installed without WRINKLING and peeling up around the edges, you say?? That's because they are using CHEAP VINYL that does not CONFORM around the compound curvature of the newer Ford emblems!

We only use the most flexible doming resin applied to the most conformable vinyl available! They aren't cheap to make...but they WILL install over your factory emblem without wrinkling (you MUST clean your emblem thoroughly and HEAT the overlay, though!) and they will STAY stuck!!

NOTE: If you feel your factory emblem, you will notice that it has an embossed Ford logo. Although our overlays are MUCH thicker than typical flat decals, this embossed logo will still show through the overlay slightly. Most customers do not feel that it is very noticeable, but if you are a real perfectionist, you may wish to grind down the surface of your emblem smooth prior to installation.

How hard are these to install? Not hard at ALL! Why? Because this very high-tech, specialty vinyl allows you to position the overlay and then lift it back up if you need to- again and again and again until you apply pressure and make it "permanent"! Install them DRY with no worries!! When you want to remove it- simply heat it up (hair dryer works fine if you do not have a heat gun) and peel it off. AND it's removable up to 4yrs without leaving any residue or adhesive behind!

From the manufacturer:
"Durable, dimensionally stable, vinyl film with positionable, pressure activated adhesive (permanent, changeable or removable) that allows it to be repositioned on the application surface during installation. Special channels allow trapped air to escape, which reduces air bubbles that typically occur as large format graphics are installed."

We don't just throw these decals in an envelope and slap a $.49 stamp on them!! They will be sandwiched between two layers of thick Coroplast®- these babies won't show up damaged!!

Fiat 500 gets Stop-Start

Fri, 06 Feb 2009

Flavour of the month, stop-start, and here’s another to add to the list. The Fiat 500 gets Start&Stop (I’ve lost count of the different monikers) as an option on the 1.2 Lounge, using Bosch technology to beef up the system to make it reliable. The Stop/Start also gets another Fiat moniker – Blue&Me – which gives the driver EcoDrive to aid emissions and adds hands-free phone and an entertainment system.

Driven: Lexus GS450h

Tue, 21 Aug 2012

Lexus' identity is still unclear, even 20 years after it launched. Toyota's premium brand has perpetually failed to establish a clear identity of its own due mainly to a lack of consistency and detail refinement across its products. Can the new GS change these perceptions?
