Volvo to trial self-driving cars on public roads
Mon, 02 Dec 2013Volvo Volvo has announced that it will soon begin a trial of 100 self-driving cars on the public roads around the Swedish city of Gothenburg. While many other carmakers – and Google – have been experimenting with this kind of autonomous driving technology, the ‘Drive Me – Self-driving cars for sustainable mobility’ project is set to see driverless cars mix with real traffic on real roads. Nissan Pivo 3 concept (w/ Video)
Wed, 09 Nov 2011The Nissan Pivo 3 will make its world debut at the Tokyo motor show later this month. You may remember the previous Pivo concepts featured a rotating, spherical cabin, which sat atop a square base whose four wheels allowed it to move in any direction. This Pivo is different in that its cabin is fixed and also (relatively) more car-like, with a design language that is now recognizably Nissan.

At the time, Shelby only issued a few photos (well, renderings) of the exterior of the Tuatara, but it looked impressive enough. And even when Jerod Shelby took a real Tuatara to Shanghai a month later to show his new creation to the world’s biggest car market, the doors stayed firmly shut.
