Audi Q3 – finally official Ahead of its official reveal at Shanghai this month, the baby SUV that is the Audi Q3 has bowed in, with plenty of detail and lots of photos. Under the skin the Audi Q3 is pure VW Tiguan, but Audi has grafted on a convincing set of sheet metal – and a typical, classy Audi interior – to put proper daylight between the cousins.

Porsche 918 Spyder (2013) at Frankfurt motor show

This is the new Porsche 918 Spyder, and it’s just been unveiled on the eve of the 2013 Frankfurt motor show. The Porsche 918 Spyder is the successor to the legendary Carrera GT, uses a race-derived engine, hits 62mph in 2.8 seconds, and will reach 214mph. But the Porsche 918 Spyder is also very different to the Carrera GT, because it’s a hybrid and promises Toyota Prius-like levels of parsimony.

Lexus IS (2013) first official pictures

These are the first official pictures of the all-new 2013 Lexus IS. Challenging the likes of the BMW 3-series, Mercedes C-class and Audi A4, the new IS has gone under the knife and the new iteration has a more athletic and vigorous-looking design, judging by these photos.   Sporting an updated, pleasingly chiselled front end, the new IS takes inspiration from the LF-CC concept shown at 2012’s Paris motor show. The new IS features the new 'spindle' front grille which adorns all new Lexus models, decorated with a new headlamp cluster design and the trademark L-shaped daytime running lights set independently below.
