New Old Stock Dorman Double Ended Studs. Part number 675-098. 3/8-16 x 1/2 long x 3/8-24 x 3/4 long, overall length is 1 1/2 inch.
I believe these are exhaust studs but I am sure they can be used for other applications.

Mon, 16 Mar 2009Volkswagen plans to sell two versions of its Polo compact car in the United States: a sedan smaller than the current Jetta and a four-door hatchback roomier than the one shown this month at the Geneva auto show. Both versions would be designed especially for the United States, said Volkswagen Group of America CEO Stefan Jacoby. Sales could start in 2011, he said.
