Range Rover Sport ploughs into basement flat

This supercharged Range Rover Sport found itself stuck between a brick and a hard place when it crashed into a basement flat in Fitzrovia, central London. The driver, who was unhurt in this week's accident, unintentionally tested the Range Rover's off-road credentials in a freak incident, which left the 2.5-tonne SUV stuck between a house wall and some railings in the posh London street. Ayrton Senna's Toleman Formula One car to be auctioned at Silverstone in May

Several impressive lots are set to cross the block at Silverstone Auctions' Spring Sale, scheduled for May 16 at Silverstone Circuit in Northhamptonshire in the United Kingdom. By far the most impressive is a Toleman TG184-2 Formula One race car driven by Ayrton Senna in his first F1 season. The car is best known for Senna's second-place finish at the rainy 1984 Monaco Grand Prix.

The Ferrari 458 Special A – revealed ahead of its Paris debut The Ferrari 458 Speciale A (the ‘A’ stands for Aperta – Italian for open) has been revealed this afternoon – ahead of its Paris Motor Show debut next week – as the most powerful open-top Ferrari ever, promising 0-62mph in just 3.0 seconds. Just 499 will be built. And if you want to invest money in a new Ferrari, the 458 Speciale A will be a good shout; with just 499 being built (just like LaFerrari) it’s almost certain these rare 458s will appreciate in the coming years – just like the 599 Aperta has (although there were even fewer of those).
