Petroleum oil provides the highest levels of zinc and phosphorus for flat-tappet engines. Additive package promotes ring seal and provides maximum protection available for cams and lifters during initial break-in. It requires no additional additives and is good for full power pulls on the dyno, one night of racing or up to 400 miles on the street. It provides maximum compression and generates maximum horsepower. Compatible with methanol and high-octane race fuels. Combined with Joe Gibbs Driven engine assembly grease, BR provides the highest levels of protection for camshafts, lifters, wrist pins, distributor gears, push rods and valve retainers. The Joe Gibbs Driven BR break-in motor oil should be pre-heated to 180 degrees F before firing the engine for maximum protection and can be used for up to 2 hours of break-in/dyno time before changing to race oil. Sun, 12 Jul 2009Mark Webber achieved his first F1 win in the Red Bull at the German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring Red Bull driver Mark Webber took pole position for the German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring this weekend and, despite a hiccup at the start, managed to translate that in to a double – his first pole and first win in F1. Webber was quick off the line at the start, but got tangled up with Rubens Barrichello in the Brawn. That altercation cost Webber a 10 second drive-through penalty.
£2,500 price cut for Subaru BRZ
Tue, 29 Apr 2014Subaru has cut the retail price of its sporty BRZ coupe by nearly 10% to £23,995 on-the-road for the SE Lux model. The reduction from the previous £26,495 list price (effective from 1 May 2014) marks a £2,500 saving for customers. The price drop is in part related to the introduction of the firm’s performance flagship model, the WRX STI, which hits UK shores in May 2014.
