OEM: DYDC1-2 - (used with twin cylinder bikes fitted with one dual output coil) 3 ohm mini black coil. Smaller and lighter than the DC1-1 coils, these are ideal for drag racing applications. Fatter spark means smoother running and less chance of fouling a plug. See below for plug wires. Check the resistance of the coils you are replacing to ensure a correct match. For some Kawasaki bikes with a ballast resistor in the circuit, the 3 ohm coil is the best choice - just remove the ballast resistor from the circuit. If you have questions if these are correct, please call us or Dynatek at 1-800-928-3962 Never select a coil with a lower resistance than your ignition system - this will cause the coils to overheat and burn out... It is OK to select coils with a slightly higher resistance. For example 3.0 ohm coils with a 1.5 ohm CDI ignition. DO not select this coil for use with the Dyna-S or Dyna III ignitions.

Bought originally from Z1 Enterprises to use on CB-350 twin, tried it out but not compatible as the spark cycle is not aligned with bike's point system.  You must have this dual coil type system to be compatible.  Includes full set of unused components (plug ends, electrical fittings, etc.)

Will Volvo need a JV in China with itself?

Tue, 29 May 2012

Western car makers wanting to operate in China need a joint venture with a Chinese partner. And it looks like Volvo is going to have to partner with itself to keep officials happy. The Chinese authorities are keen to make sure that Western car makers can’t just rock up on their doorstep, open up a factory or three and flog cars in the most populous nation on earth.

Jaguar Land Rover China: New brand and new models

Thu, 27 Oct 2011

Jaguar Land Rover - new models and brand with Chery JV in China It’s been clear for some time that Jaguar Land Rover are eager to cement a joint venture (JV) with a Chinese car maker so they can have a beachhead in to China’s rapidly growing car market. And that JLR JV seems almost certain to be with Chery. Part of the deal for Western car companies seeking to do business in China is not just a partnership with a Chinese company, but a sharing of technology and a range of cars badged up with the Chinese partner company’s brand.

Jaguar XJ Diesel – The Swansong plaudit

Wed, 17 Jun 2009

The Jaguar XJ 2.7 Diesel has won the 'Greenest Luxury Car' Award And although one of the strengths of Jaguar has been its heritage it has, to a degree, also become its Achilles Heel. The first Jaguar XJs were a triumph when they were launched in 1968, and put Jaguar leaps and bounds ahead of the German competition, in the same way Jaguar had taken the world by storm with the E-Type a few years before. But things started to fall apart for Jaguar in the ’70s with the fiasco that was British Leyland, and by trying to emulate Porsche by making each iteration of the XJ an evolution of the original all they managed to do was cement in the public mindset the failings of the XJ.
