Auto Tune for Power Commander® V by Dynojet® Research

Once installed, the Auto Tune Kit monitors the fuel mixture (by installing the included Wide Band O² sensor in the exhaust). It then sends this information to the Power Commander V and automatically corrects it while you ride. Each map has preset Air/ Fuel ratio values included that have been found to be the best overall settings. This lets you simply plug in the unit and let it do the work. For advanced users that would like to change the Air/ Fuel ratios from baseline, they are fully adjustable. Each throttle opening/ rpm combination is individually adjustable, so that you can have fuel economy during cruise while maintaining peak output at larger throttle openings. For most models of bikes it is also possible to adjust the Air/ Fuel ratios "per gear". This gives you total control of the fueling in every gear and throttle/ rpm area

Fits models equipped with Power Commander V

Honda S660 Concept revealed – the Honda Beat returns

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

The Honda S660 Concept (pictured) will debut at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show It looks like Honda is making a return to the Kei car with the arrival of the Honda S660 Concept ahead of the Tokyo Motor Show next month. The Kei class of car in Japan is small (less than 3.4 metres long) and comes with a raft of tax breaks for buyers, but despite it being designed just for Japan it’s gained a cult following round the world, and now the Honda Beat for the 21st century has arrived in the form of the S660 concept. The S660 Concept – it gets the required maximum 660cc Kei engine limit – is a mid-engined open top roadster that manages to deliver 64bhp from its 3-cylinder engine which, with a weight under 900kg, should be reasonably lively.

Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid gets Polestar upgrade

Thu, 14 Aug 2014

Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid gets Polestar upgrade The Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid is proving a big sales success for Volvo – and no wonder. The V60 Plug-in Hybrid takes the already very good Volvo V60 and plants a hybrid plug-in under the skin which offers Volvo’s 215bhp 5-cylinder diesel engine – which drives the front wheels – mated to a 70bhp electric motor at the back, making the V60 Plug-in a 4WD Estate with a decent turn of performance, a range of up to 621 miles and a BIK-busting 49g/k emissions. Not only that, but you can now have the V60 Plug-in with Volvo’s R-Design spec offering the usual Volvo ‘go faster’ updates which make the V60 look more purposeful without looking silly.
