E-type Jaguar Left Cylinder Head V-12, Great Core on 2040-parts.com
Oakland, New Jersey, United States
Hello, I acquired this in a larger lot of car parts and as far as I can tell its the left Cylinder head off a V-12 Jaguar. If you need one of these, this will fit the bill nicely! No apparent cracks, seems straight, should perform with the normal reconditioning needed for something of this vintage I cannot guarantee what car it may fit on or if it will fit your application. See the pictures for all the markings stamped on the item, hopefully that will be enough to ensure it will fit your needs. No warrantee implied or provided, returns not accepted. Good luck |

ABT Sportsline introduces 700 hp Audi RS6 Avant
Thu, 14 Nov 2013Hot on the heels of their appearance at SEMA and their announcement to open a location in the U.S., the German tuning firm ABT Sportsline has unveiled two new versions of the Audi RS6 Avant, dubbed the ABT Power S and ABT Power. Apparently, ABT Sportsline felt that the 560 hp output of the stock 4.0-liter TFSI-engined Audi RS6 Avant wasn't enough, and tuned the ABT Power S version to produce 700 hp. That's a 25 percent increase in power over the stock version.
Porsche Boxster E (2011): prototype Boxster EV
Thu, 24 Feb 2011Porsche recently rolled out the first of three Boxster E electric vehicles, to take part in the 'Electromobility Region Stuttgart' local government initiative in Germany. The Boxster E is powered by two electric motors, capable of a peak power output of 180kW. Energy is stored in a 29kWh battery pack. Not with the Boxster E. Three electric Boxsters are being built as part of a programme sponsored by the Baden-Wurttemberg state government (Porsche's home state in Germany) and WRS, the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation. Porsche's hometown of Stuttgart is one of eight model regions participating in a federal pilot programme sponsored by the Minitsry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs to develop EVs and their supporting infrastructure. The three Boxster E prototypes will take part in the programme, acting as mobile laboratories for testing EV usage and planning for EVs in urban infrastructure. CAR's view? We reckon this electric Boxster E is much cooler than your usual EV council van.
Peugeot 308 (2014) first pictures of Peugeot's new Focus-fighter
Mon, 13 May 2013This is Peugeot's all-new family hatchback: the 308. Yep, that's right: Peugeot isn't rolling over to the '309' moniker, but don't be fooled: the new 308's design looks worlds apart from the off-the-pace outgoing car. Sticking with the same model names for all future cars will simplify the range for consumers, reckons Peugeot: it's a demonstration of the fightback to rebuild the brand's image (think Ford ditching the 'Escort' badge and sticking with 'Focus' instead). The new 308 is 140kg lighter than before, more economical and gets a totally rethought cabin.
