Not for hardtops, convertibles, or Imperials, this driver's side vent window handle fits the early '57 Mopar sedans and wagons. 

The handle for sale here is in the first two pictures.  I do not have a button kit for this handle.  The early '57 handles used a different release button and key than the later cars.  For comparison purposes only, see the last two photos for a side-by-side view of the early and late handles.  Release button kits for these early handles have become pritnear impossible to find, but the later handles (late '57-'59 style) can be used on the early cars and those later button kits show up.

Saab calls off deal with Chinese automaker

Saab parent Spyker Cars NV said Thursday that a strategic partnership deal with China's Hawtai Motor Group that would provide cash to help Saab turn around its business has been terminated. As a result, Saab may enter into a new strategic partnership with Hawtai or another Chinese party on manufacturing, technology and distribution in China, Spyker said in a release. "Since it became clear that Hawtai was not able to obtain all the necessary consents, the parties were forced to terminate the agreement with Saab Automobile and Spyker with immediate effect.

Pigskin and sheetmetal: Redskins host car event this weekend

With fall just around the corner and summer car-show season beginning to fade, a nice transition will be held this Sunday when the Washington Redskins play host to their second-annual Redskins Rides event. Pigskin and sheetmetal fans can satisfy their dual addictions with the show at the Redskins' practice facility in Ashburn, Va. Last year, more than 3,000 attended the event, and players Antwaan Randle El, Jason Campbell and Chris Cooley were among the headliners who appeared from the team.
