Our three Super Flow computerized engine dynos are capable of measuring 11 separate engine variables up to speeds of 12,000 rpm. For 2007, we added a new Super Flow SF902 engine dyno. It's fully automated and programmable to simulate various driving situations, and is equipped with WinDyn software for the very latest in testing equipment. For real-world tuning, there's our Super Flow model SF-840 eddy-current chassis dyno that can handle up to 1,000 hp at the wheels and speeds of 200 mph. When all testing is completed, the results evaluated, and the part has passed all performance criteria, then, and only then, is the product deemed ready for production. These precise testing procedures are applied to the entire Edelbrock line for performance that's guaranteed. Edelbrock test vehicles are driven by Edelbrock engineers and employees to get a "real world" feeling for the performance improvements. Opel Ampera plug-in hybrid design sketches leak out

A Spanish website claims to have stumbled across the technical design sketches at a European patent office and – if authentic – they spill the beans on the new plug-in hybrid electric concept car that’s bound for a showroom near you within two years. The Ampera is Opel/Vauxhall’s version of the Chevrolet Volt, the breakthrough car that could just save GM if it survives its current crisis.
Nissan hosts Taxi of Tomorrow Design Expo
Thu, 27 Oct 2011Back in May, we reported that Nissan had successfully fended off competition from Ford and Karsan to be crowned New York's ‘Taxi of tomorrow'. In collaboration with an all-new infrastructure, the NV200 light commercial vehicle would serve the Big Apple from 2013. In preparation of this, the NV200 will be displayed at the Tomorrow Design Expo next month, allowing New Yorkers an opportunity to familiarize themselves with their new yellow cabs. The NV200 features a variety of amenities above and beyond the outgoing Crown Victorias, with the NV200's equipment list ranging from dual-zone climate control and new exterior lighting that includes the standard availability indicators and 'trouble light' (that silently notifies nearby police when the driver is in danger) to a 'horn light' to reduce horn usage and noise pollution.
