Up .for bids is a pair of bare Edelbrock Victor Pro port cylinder heads for a big block chevy. They were ported by Knowlton's Thunderheads using his 3.9 CNC program. They feature a 119 cc combustion chamber and a 390 cc intake runner volume. They are finished for 2.35 intake and 1.86 exhaust valves using a 45 degree valve job. They flow over 440 cfn at .800 lift and can easily support over 900 hp on a 600"+ motor with pump gas.They have one dyno session on them so they are like new, but are being sold bare. Happy bidding!

They took with them the usual holiday toys, but they remembered to pack a nice new Jaguar XFR, with a few mods necessary to run at Bonneville (roll cage, fire extinguishers, etc). They had a little fiddle with the ECU to derestrict it (and yield 600bhp) but, it is claimed, made no further mods apart from adding a spoiler at the back to stop the XFR taking off on the Salt Flats’ wide open spaces. The 24th-annual EyesOn Design car show will honor Volkswagen Group design chief Walter de'Silva with a Lifetime Design Achievement Award, the organizers said. De'Silva is responsible for designing the passenger cars for Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini and Volkswagen. He designed the 2008 Volkswagen Golf, the '10 Touareg and many others.

Usually communication between cars on the road consists of expletive-ridden road rage or “hey, your headlight’s out!” Thanks to new technology, the exchange of information could soon be far more productive. The U.S. Department of Transportation has announced that it will be holding Driver Acceptance Clinics in six cities across the country to assess how well drivers respond to vehicle-to-vehicle communication technology.
