The SRX series chains are an excellent value for any street machine. The SRX chains feature lightening holes, reduced friction

and Quadra X-Ring design which increases chain life from 1 1/2 to 2 times longer than a standard O-Ring chain.

The reason this chain lasts longer and is called an 'X-ring' is because of the shape of the sealing rings.  Instead of just being a traditional 'o-ring' squished in between the chain sideplates, the ring has a cross section in the shape of an 'X'.  This design creates less friction (which also produces more horsepower), creates less heat, naturally has twice the number sealing edges to keep the good stuff in and the bad stuff out, and creates an extra 'pool' of lubricant.
