The complete set of Elto Ruddertwin antique outboard motor vinyl decals (rear tank and instruction/starting) for the 1921-1926 models C, D, G, & H. The rear tank decal is blue, silver and yellow and measures 7 ¼” x 2”, the same as the original. The 2 instruction and starting decals are clear vinyl with black print and measure 5 ¼” tall and 2” wide, the same as the originals. All three decals are of highest quality exterior vinyl material and clear-coated for durability. They are easily applied with facing material attached. If you are refurbishing or restoring an antique Elto Rudder twin (or have one in your collection), this set is perfect. Easy to apply vinyl decals with enclosed instructions. A D-segment-sized sedan, the project has seen input from both Nissan's studios in Japan and NDA, where the concept was completed. According to NDA design chief Alfonso Albaisa, the concept explores a new global design language Nissan is working towards for its range of sedans.

Wed, 12 Jun 2013The Vauxhall Insignia gets a facelift for 2014 with new engines and lower prices The Vauxhall Insignia is a more than decent car – and a big improvement on the Vectra that went before – but it’s now almost five years old so it’s time for a bit of a facelift. Vauxhall has revealed the updated Insignia for 2014 that gets a decent raft of changes, both cosmetically and under the skin, to make it better to live with and more economical. Sensibly, Vauxhall has cut the bewildering range of Insignia trim levels from 14 to eight (do they need even that many?), with Design Trim at the bottom and Elite trim at the top, and the new Insignia Design starting at £16,279 – £3500 less than the old Insignia ES.
L’argus Student Competition 2009
Wed, 28 Jan 2009French magazine L'argus de l'automobile has announced the winners of its seventh Student Competition Awards, themed ‘Automobile Design for Social Utility'. Open to students studying design within the European Union and Switzerland, the competition culminated at a recent awards ceremony at the Eiffel Tower. The first prize of €3000 and an internship at Renault's Technocentre in Guyancourt (near Paris) went to Damien Grossemy, Thibaut Dereymacker and Maxime Dimarco from the Institut Supérieur de Design in Valenciennes, France.
