Hartmut Warkuss to receive 2014 EyesOn Design Catalyst Award

Hartmut Warkuss, former head of Volkswagen Design, will be awarded the 2014 Catalyst Award by EyesOn Design at next week's North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Warkuss, who is credited with overseeing the design of the Bugatti Veyron, the VW Concept (new Beetle) and the Audi TT Concept, will be presented with the award by Peter Schreyer, Hyundai's president and chief design officer and the 2014 recipient of the EyesOn Design Lifetime Design Achievement Award. Michigan summer car events list

The Motor City is gearing up for a summer of events that celebrate the region's automotive heritage. Sainsbury's slashes fuel prices

SAINSBURY'S has become the latest supermarket to slash fuel prices. From Friday, Sainsbury's is cutting the cost of its petrol by up to 6p a litre and its diesel by up to 4p a litre. This means customers will pay no more than 129.9p a litre for petrol and 136.9p for diesel.
