GM and Bezalel Academy of Art and Design develop Windows of Opportunity smart glass tech [w/video]

General Motors' Research and Development has collaborated with Bezalel Academy of Art and Design's Future Lab students to conceptualize new ways in which rear seat passengers – who traditionally feel disconnected from their environment – have a richer experience on the road. The result is the Windows of Opportunity project, a series of applications developed by the Bezalel students and built into full-size prototypes using multi-touch and gesture sensing surfaces developed by ClickEye. The projects were: – Otto an animated character projected over passing scenery that responds to real-time car performance, weather and landscape.

Details for the UK of the 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe have been released Hyundai revealed the updates to the Santa Fe for 2010 at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in September, but it’s taken them a couple of months to get round to confirming details and prices for the UK. New Volkswagen Golf GTi at Geneva Motor Show 2013

Volkswagen will unveil the production version of its MK7 Golf GTi at next week’s Geneva Motor Show, marking more than 30 years of the venerable hot hatch. This isn't the first time we've seen this car: back in September, Volkswagen showed a concept version of the GTi at the Paris Motor Show. Concept it might have been but a visit to Spec Savers is required before trying to spot the changes between that car and this production version.
