Owner gets sunken car back

Fri, 14 Mar 2014

A SUBMERGED CAR that was abandoned because of flooding on the Somerset Levels has been reunited with its owner. Hubert Zajaczkowski, 21, was forced to leave his Seat Toledo on a road near the village of Muchelney on Christmas Eve because of the rising water. For weeks, the car remained stranded under several feet of water, filmed and photographed by national and international media and press as an illustration of the disaster unfolding in Somerset.

Ford Kuga launched in Australia – but it’s the old Kuga

Thu, 16 Feb 2012

The old Ford Kuga is the new Ford Kuga in Australia In what seems an odd move, the current Ford Kuga has been launched in Australia, just weeks from the debut of the 2012 Kuga in Geneva. You can’t have failed to notice that the 2012 Ford Kuga is just round the corner – and due to debut at Geneva in March – and we’ve already seen most of what the new Kuga has to offer with the debut of the new Ford Escape at Los Angeles last November. But despite the world readying itself to put in an order for a new Kuga, our Antipodean cousins are only now getting the chance to buy a Kuga, but its not the all new Ford Kuga, rather the Kuga we’ve had for the last four years.

Spyker B6 Venator to get 345bhp Lotus V6

Tue, 15 Oct 2013

Spyker B6 Venator (pictured) to get 345bhp Lotus V6 The Spyker B6 Venator arrived officially – at least as a concept – at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, and it’s a fine looking car with lots of promise. It did seem it might just be another flight of fancy by Spyker’s Victor Muller, but it does look like the B6 Venator really is heading for production. Not only that, but Victor has a B6 Venator Spyder in the mix too to add an extra bit of appeal to what looks like it will be an appealing, if still quite expensive, offering from Spyker.
