Renault Laguna

Renault has released photos of the all-new upper-medium segment Laguna five-door hatchback and estate that will compete with the Ford Mondeo, Peugeot 407 and Volkswagen Passat in European markets. The new Laguna is a conservative evolution of the themes introduced in 2000 with the second generation Laguna: the hatchback moving further towards a sedan-like profile, while the estate model has a more sporting character from its steeply raked wraparound rear screen and horizontal lamps. The Laguna's most notable design features include the angular front and rear lamp design, and a distinctive plunging shoulder line, which is echoed in the sweeping IP form.

Porsche unveils 2015 911 Targa

Porsche has given its latest 911 Targa a heavy dose of retro appeal through the adoption of a series of classic styling cues that hark back to that of the original model launched in 1965. Unveiled at the Detroit auto show, the new 911 Targa is based around the same aluminium bodyshell and four-wheel drive mechanical package as the 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet, alongside which it will be produced at Porsche's Zuffenhausen factory on the outskirts of Stuttgart, Germany. Hennessey readies 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray package with 1,000 hp

The 2014 Corvette Stingray made its world debut at the Detroit auto show less than two months ago, but Texas tuner John Hennessey is already working on upgrades. Hennessey Performance plans to offer upgrades for both the C7 coupe and the C7 convertible. Supercharged systems will bring output to 700 hp and higher-priced twin-turbo setups push power to anywhere from 800 hp-1,000 hp.
