UP FOR AUCTION IS A NICE RUNNING 6 HP EVIRUDE SHORT SHAFT TILLER MOTOR. THIS MOTOR HAS BEEN ALL GONE OVER AND RUNS EXCELLENT. I HAVE REBUILT CARB AND INSTALLED A NEW WATER PUMP IMPELLER LOWER END WAS INSPECTED AND SERVICED WITH NEW LUBE. COMPRESSION IS HIGH AND EVEN ON BOTH CYLINDERS. IGNITION SYSTEM WAS CHECKED AND NEW POINTS , CONDENCERS AND PLUGS INSTALLED. I HAVE ALSO REPAINTED THE ENTIER MOTOR WITH EUROTHANE AUTOMOTIVE PAINT AND INSTALLED NEW FACTORY DECALS. NO PAINT WAS APPLYED TO ACTUAL POWER HEAD OF MOTOR IT IS ORIGINAL. MOTOR LOOKS AND RUNS LIKE NEW AND COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL I WILL SHIP TO ANYONE IN THE LOWER 48 STATES IN A CUSTOM BUILT LIGHT PLYWOOD CRATE AND PACKED WELL FOR PROTECTION. Mon, 16 Mar 2009The BMW Alpina D3 BiTurbo - a brilliant, quick and economical everyday drive Alpina has turned out some stunning versions of the BMW range over the years (and some not so stunning – their 8 Series springs to mind) and they fill a gap that is either not profitable in small volume for BMW or, in some cases, a hole that BMW hasn’t plugged. And this one is a good hole to fill with the BMW Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo, a 3 Series diesel with the heart of a hot hatch. Alpina has taken the engine out of the 1 Series 123d and given it a boost to 240bhp, in the process dropping the 0-60 time to a very creditable 6.9 seconds But it’s not the sprint that count, but the way this peppy diesel unit delivers it.

Tue, 08 Jan 2013Maximilian Missoni has been appointed exterior design chief at Volvo Cars. He will report to exterior design director Fedde Talsma and to Thomas Ingenlath, vice president design. 34-year-old Austrian-born Missoni joins the Swedish carmaker from Volkswagen where he worked from 2002, first working in Wolfsburg as a designer before being appointed senior exterior designer at the company's Advanced Design Center in Potsdam.
