HP7A Rottler diamond computer assisted hone for proper cylinder wall finish, all critical surfaces machined back to uniform for proper gasket sealing. We install NEW parts, pistons, piston rings, wrist pin's, oil gear, thermostats, bearings, crank seals, the list goes on and on..   The Industry (outboard remanufacturing) standard for rebuilt motors is ONLY 100 hours per outboard repair, and a loss of up to 20% power loss . Here is the problem:  piston and ring seating is dependent directly on cylinder wall finish. To accomplish the proper finish, the method used is referred to as "plateau finish". This process is how today's automobile motors go over 100,000 instead of maybe 50,000 miles like they used to. To obtain this finish in a blind hole motor (outboards) you can't use automotive machining methods. Special machines using diamond precision computer controlled hones are needed. These machines with their support equipment are a must on modern outboards, gone are the days that you can do this correctly at a dealer or in a garage. With this in mind we attempt to educate.

   For the uneducated customer who looks only for low price also gets a new friend.  Who? The dealer or person who is going to rebuild your engine again, to the industry standard, AGAIN...

THE TOTAL ANNUAL COST of road accidents, including the human suffering as well as the medical bills, could be more than £34 billion, according to Government estimates. Latest figures show that British road accidents that were reported in 2012 cost an estimated £15.12 billion. This included damage-only accidents but did not allow for unreported injury accidents.

Ram heavy-duty pickup gets higher towing rating

Ram has fired the latest salvo in the ongoing pickup war between the domestic automakers, releasing what the brand claims is now best-in-class towing capacity for its 2013 heavy-duty pickups. The 2013 Ram 3500 is rated to tow a 30,000-pound trailer, up from a maximum towing capacity of 22,750 pounds for the same vehicle and powertrain setup in 2012. According to their respective Web sites, similarly equipped heavy-duty 3500 pickups from General Motors are rated at a towing capacity of 23,100 pounds, while Ford's F-350 similarly equipped is rated at 22,800 pounds.
