It is about 12" long with a 2 1/4" ID inlet so it will slip over a 2 1/4" OD tail pipe (slightly tight). The outer end is 3" OD. It needs to be welded. This is the heavy duty muffler shop version. Low-level lights for cyclists get approval

The low-level lights repeat the signals displayed by the normal traffic lights, and the results of the trial were that 80% of cyclists favoured their use. Following the approval Transport for London can now install the lights at Bow Roundabout – the first time the lights have been used in the UK.
