For sale is a set of (10) extra long 5/8" course thread wheel studs. Studs have a 4" overall length. The knurl is 3/8" in length & is the common circle track .690" diameter. The threads are 2-5/8" in length with a bullet nose at the end. Longer studs allow the use of wheel spacers to adjust your race cars handling at the track. RCA students redesign classic cars for Salon Privé
Mon, 17 Jun 2013Eleven postgraduates from the Royal College of Art's Vehicle Design program have redesigned and modernized past Concours-winning cars for the ‘Concours of the Future' design exhibition at this year's Salon Privé in London. Concours of the Future, a first for the Salon Privé, will be showcased on 4 July before being judged the next day by a panel chaired by automotive designer and RCA visiting professor Peter Stevens. The judging panel is made up of Dale Harrow, head of the RCA Vehicle Design program and some of the biggest names in car design: Giles Taylor, director of design at Rolls-Royce; Peter Schreyer, chief design officer at Hyundai and Kia and Peter Horbury, vice president – design at Geely.

BYD aims to bring electric vehicle to North America by 2011 or 2012
Mon, 12 Jan 2009Chinese firm BYD Auto is aiming to bring at least one electric vehicle to North America by 2011 or 2012, and is considering building an assembly plant in the United States, it said Monday at the Detroit Auto Show. The automaker showed the e6, an electric vehicle, and two other hybrid cars at the show. The e6 has room for five and has a range of 250 miles, BYD says.
