The TOW MATRIX Super Heavy Duty Transmission  for Ford E4OD and 4R100 transmissions engaged in Towing, Engine Braking, Ambulance, Motor Home, Snow Plow and other extreme applications.

The TOW MATRIX Package includes Alto Red Eagle Clutches and Power Pack, heavy duty modified center support, heavy duty clutch clearance snap ring mod, TransGo Tugger  Reprogramming, Super Duty  torque converter w/brazed fins modified thrust and billet back, Protection Kit with extra high capacity  cooler, and more.  This transmission is designed for those who need the ultimate E4OD/4R100! Transmission includes a 1 year, unlimited mile warranty with the option to extend to 3 year warranty on many applications. This auction is for the E4OD (1989-1998), but if you have a 4R100 (1999-2005) let me know and we can do one of those for you for a little bit more. These transmissions were used in Bronco, F150/F250/F350/F450/F550 as well as Econoline vans with 4.9L and up gas engines as well as diesel and powerstroke diesel. Easy way to tell you have an E4OD or 4R100 is that the transmission pan has 20 bolts on it. Winning bidder should email with specifics of vehicle (year, model, engine size, 2WD or 4x4) so that we can make the transmission fit your vehicle.  Ford did not make their transmissions strong enough for severe duty use - this transmission will fix that problem. WINNING BIDDER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR A $500 (E4OD) or $900 (4R100) CORE DEPOSIT FULLY REFUNDABLE UPON RETURN OF YOUR OLD TRANSMISSION & TORQUE CONVERTER. We also have similar packages for other transmissions or other parts for this and most other transmissions, so check our ebay store or inquire for info. For more information on this overhaul kit or other transmissions and parts, email us or call 800-776-1191. Will ship anywhere in the continental US via common carrier (always best to have it delivered to a shop or pick it up at a terminal to avoid hefty residential and liftgate fees - If you let me know your zip code, I can find the nearest terminal). Please inquire with zip code for exact shipping charges (figure on one pallet of about 300 lbs.). For Canada or International please email for shipping costs. Payment can be made using paypal or credit card (visa, mastercard, discover, or american express).

McLaren Automotive First Anniversary: 1,000 McLaren MP4-12C sold and counting

Thu, 21 Jun 2012

McLaren Automotive is a year old and is celebrating selling over 1,000 McLaren MP4-12Cs in the first twelve months. It’s actually a bit more than  three years since Ron Dennis announced the formation of McLaren Automotive, which had a live launch on Cars UK on 18th March 2010. But McLaren don’t seem to acknowledge that date as the start of McLaren Automotive but instead prefer the date the first MP4-12C was sold – exactly one year ago today on June 21st 2011.
