Here's a nice Rochester 2V Chevy Style Side Outlet carburetor that specs out for a 1966/67 Buick. I got this carburetor with a group of parts I bought in 2008 from the parts room of a Buick dealer near me who closed their doors. It was on a shelf with several other carburetors, and I am going with what is written on the box as far as the application. I do know the throttle arm and linkage look exactly like the Buick & Oldsmobile single two barrel hookups from the 60s. I took a peek inside the lid and everything looks great. Most of the carburetors I found there were Carter 4Vs from the 60s, and most of them were in these Factory Rebuilt boxes. I guess back in those days there were alot of carburetor problems until they tried everything and finally settled on a few of the better ones. I use a version of this 2V Rochester carburetor on my 50s GM tri-power setups I recon and sell and they are very dependable units. I can't really tell you much more about this unit, other than what you see in the pictures, but if you would have any problems with it I have enough 2V Rochester parts to get you up and running with no problem. I've been reconning & using these 2Vs since 1961 & I think they are the best 2V out there. Warren Golf & Country Club Classic & Supercar event this weekend

Wed, 01 May 2013

There are plenty of supercar and classic car shows up and down the UK to keep petrolheads (and their families) fed with a regular dose of adrenalin and high-octane thrills, but it’s always nice to report on a new one, especially a new one that offers the promise of something worth making the effort for. The Warren Golf & Country Club, which nestles on the Warren Estate in Woodham Mortimer – far from the white stilettos and tangoed complexions of the more chavvy parts of Essex – has its first ever classic and supercar show event this Saturday (4th May 2013) and they’ve made a pretty good fist of putting an appealing array of goodies together. Max Chilton, a relatively new entrant in the F1 world, will be there together with his Marussia F1 car, as will be the entire Le Mans Jaguar XJR Team thanks to local specialists JD Classics.

Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo Tech Edition

Fri, 05 Apr 2013

The Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo Tech Edition is a limited edition of the already limited edition Fabia Monte Carlo, with added equipment. We all understand that producing limited edition cars adds a bit of showroom gloss, with car makers adding something extra – and often unique to the model, to create a ‘Limited Edition’ with extra equipment to boost sales. But is it stretching things a bit far when a car maker takes an already ‘Limited’ edition car and bolts more goodies on to it to create a ‘new’ limited edition?
