Volkswagen teases with sketch of new sedan for Tennessee factory

Volkswagen AG on Thursday released a sketch of the mid-sized sedan that will be built at VW's factory now under construction in Chattanooga, Tenn. The mid-sized sedan, which has yet to be named, will be slightly larger than the Passat. VW plans to build 150,000 units annually when the factory opens in early 2011.

The Subaru XV Black Limited Edition Subaru launched their XV SUV – basically a high-riding Crossover Impreza – back in 2012, and it was a decent offering. But by this summer they were looking to add a bit more fizz to sales and decided there was room to make substantial cuts in the list price of the XV, taking it down by a significant £2300 right across the range. Jaguar & Land Rover eschew Detroit for Delhi

The Jaguar C-X16 will be on show at the Delhi Motor Show in January. Although Jaguar Land Rover has revealed that it won’t be exhibiting at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show in January – instead it will be out in force at the Delhi Motor Show – it’s really not a huge deal. Motor Show exhibiting is an expensive business, and despite JLR’s strong sales, costs are a factor.
