Auctions were offering for sale an extremely rare 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa at the Ferrari Leggenda e Passione sale in Maranello today. Well, the sale went as planned, because the Ferrari 250 TR sold for a world auction record €9,020,000, beating the previous record by €1,980,000.
VW Eos BlueMotion Technology revealed

The usual tweaks apply to give the Eos its BlueMotion status – regenerative braking, start-stop, hill-hold and a gear change light – but this is the first time (unless we’ve missed something along the way) that VW has utilised its BlueMotion toys on a petrol engine.
Nissan ‘Think Outside the Parking Box’ competition
Thu, 30 Jul 2009Nissan, in collaboration with designboom, has launched an international graphic design competition with a theme to design the future of urban parking. Entitled 'Think Outside the Parking Box', registration to the competition is open to professionals, students, and design enthusiasts until September 27th, 2009. Based around Nissan's Qashqai urban crossover - currently marketed as being 'urbanproof' - the brief calls for entries that challenge any element of urban parking, be it underground, exterior, interior, multi-layer or ground level.
