FEL-PRO 26472 R-041 HEAD GASKET - GM RH LSX BLOCK .041 THICK 4.100" BORE Fel-Pro PermaTorque MLS (multi-layer steel) head gaskets provide torque retention and extra strength to support lightweight aluminum casting designs. Developed to seal in the repair environment, under these less than factory-perfect conditions, these MLS gaskets have many unique features that are more forgiving than other designs and accommodate surface irregularities up to 60 Ra (360 Rz). They include: Full-hard stainless steel that maintains its shape despite thermal expansion, and resists the scrubbing action between head and block Precision-engineered embossed sealing beads placed at all critical sealing areas eliminate leak paths An exclusive extra-strong stopper layer incorporated to provide a superior primary combustion seal Special rubber coating, specifically formulated for the engine rebuild environment, is more forgiving of surface finish requirements If the vehicle engine was equipped with an MLS gasket from the factory, the Fel-Pro replacement will be a PermaTorque MLS gasket. Nissan unveiled the Nails, Toyota its Pod and Isuzu the Zen, but Honda had arguably the most intelligent concept there – the Unibox. With its square shape, truss aluminum frame, wooden floor and flat, glazed walls the Unibox sits on the fence between automobile and architecture.
AC Mk VI: AC Cars return to the UK

Who's Where: Sielaff and Egger take on new roles in 2012
Thu, 22 Dec 2011Both Wolfgang Egger and Stefan Sielaff will take on new roles in the latest move of car designer chess within the Volkswagen Group. Egger takes over the position of Head of Audi Brand Design from Sielaff, who will become Head of Interior Design for the Volkswagen Group as well as Head of the Volkswagen Design Center in Potsdam. Their respective roles will become operational on 1 February 2012.
