'Need for Speed' series reveals new movie and more game info

The “Need for Speed” franchise has been releasing racing simulators since 1994. Known for its arcade-style play and in-depth in-game customization, the franchise has been a fun alternative for those not as interested in the raw simulators such as “Gran Turismo” and “Forza Motorsport”. Thye new Mercedes GLA (pictured) teased on video ahead of Frankfurt It was only last week we revealed that the latest iteration of the new Mercedes A-Class – the Mercedes GLA Compact SUV – would be making its debut at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show in production guise. And now Mercedes are starting the tease. They kicked of late yesterday with a sketch of the new GLA, but as we’ve already seen the concept at Geneva, and designers sketches are not exactly the most reliable interpretation of the reality, we didn’t see much point in republishing them (you can see them on Mercedes Facebook page).

Volvo V40 teased again ahead of Geneva [w/video]

Volvo has released an unusual cartoon teaser video for its new five-door V40, together with an additional image. The animated video features a flock of birds perching on power lines before all but one fly off. Being left on its own to dance on the lines, before fading to black with the words 'Be One of a Kind' appearing before advertising the car's imminent arrival.  Meanwhile the image (left), showing the car in silhouette, gives little away about the design, unlike Volvo's first sneak peek (right), released in December last year.
