Today’s automatic transmissions are very complex with more speeds and more moving parts than ever before. Within their tight internal clearances, normal wear generates tiny steel particles that circulate in the transmission fluid. These particles are so small they will pass right through any fluid filter. As the fluid circulates in the transmission, these same particles are carried into every lubricated space in the transmission. This particle laden fluid will continue to lubricate, but will also contribute to increased wear while it circulates. The longer the fluid stays in the transmission, the greater the wear.

The FilterMag TM360 is designed to snap externally on automatic transmission fluid pans.

Wed, 17 Jun 2009

Six years after he got the idea and bought the streamliner, Jesse James has set the world record for hydrogen-powered speed. Late afternoon on June 16, James flew across the windswept dust of El Mirage dry lake bed in the California desert and tripped the lights at 199.712 mph. That was 14 mph faster than the previous record of 185 mph, set in Germany by BMW in its hydrogen-powered H2H.

Shelby Sued

Fri, 28 Sep 2012

Usually, Shelby lawsuit headlines announce that Shelby is suing someone, but here's one where someone is suing Shelby Automobiles, Inc. Stephen Becker has been an authorized Shelby dealer since 2007, having sold and delivered 49 cars between 2007 and 2010, according to the suit. Becker has sold various Shelby cars for many years before that, and says he knew Carroll Shelby as early as 1977.
