This listing is for one brand new finned cast aluminum valve cover for the Harbor Freight HEMI Predator, which also sometimes referred to as the "new" predator 212. The easiest way to tell the difference is that the "new" HEMI predator motor come from the factory with a die cast valve cover, and the non-hemi "old" motor comes with a stamped tin cover(thats the same shape as the honda small blocks),. This is perfect for giving your go kart, mini-bike, barstool racer, or any other small engine project that awesome traditional hot rod look! The extra height really beefs up the look of this motor, while also providing extra clearance for various roller rocker and valve train options.

Check my ebay store/other listings for the matching top plate, catch cans, fuel pump covers, gas tanks, and clutch covers. But note that the hemi predator takes the honda style top plate, which is different from the non hemi predator. Contact me for package deal discounts if your buying multiple items. I also offer this in a polished finish for $69.99 shipped.

It is very important that your motor is vented, if you do not vent your crankcase(which is usually accomplished by a hose coming off of the stock valve cover), you can lose power, blow out seals and gaskets and damage your motor. Since there are several ways to accomplish this(one of which is a nipple on the oil fill plug, which would not require a hole in the valve cover), and since most of these covers will be going on really cool custom projects, they do not come pre-drilled to give you the largest amount of flexibility; but these are good high quality, non-brittle castings that are easy to drill and tap(for a vent or pulse fitting for a fuel pump). If you are not comfortable with/don't have the tools for/would rather not mess with the drilling and tapping, call me at 972-989-4003 and I should be able to help you out.

Note: These are small production run, sand cast(not cheap brittle die cast), aluminum parts. These are high quality parts, but due to the manufacturing process, there can be very slight variances from part to part. I personally run these parts, and have been blown away by the quality( never had an issue with any of them), but just want to remind people that these are low production cast parts, not factory made, cnc machined billet parts(which is a big part of why I prefer these parts). They look awesome as cast, you can paint them(or smooth then paint if you want a mirror finish), or they can be smoothed and polished, which looks amazing!

I'm a full time Firefighter/paramedic, and an avid motorcycle rider. I part out bikes to help offset what I spend building, riding, and racing them. With that said, I'm not a big shop, and this is not my only job. I will do everything in my power to ship parts out ASAP, and 95% of the time I get them out within 1 business day of when they are paid for, but because of my work schedule(where I work 24hr shifts, and sometimes work 48 and 72hr shifts), and my riding, there may be rare occasions that it may take longer than 24hrs before I get it shipped out. If you are in a rush to get the part, please contact me, and I will do everything I can get it out fast(and if you contact me, I can make special arrangements, and 99% of the time can get it sent out the same day). But if you are somebody who expects everything to be shipped instantly "come hell or high water", please find another seller who will better fit your needs, because I may very well be busy dealing with hell or high water, or just unwinding and riding my motorcycles. And the latter should be easy enough to relate to, right? I ALSO SELL PARTS ON FORUMS and LOCALLY, so I reserve the right to END AUCTIONS EARLY. I'm happy to combine shipping when practical, and I'm also happy to make package deals if there are several parts you need. Email is the best way to contact me, but I'm happy to give you a call, or give you my personal cell number if you would rather call me. FOLLOW ME ON FACEBOOK: SMALLTOWNSPEED

UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, ALL OF THE PARTS I'M SELLING ARE USED. I guarantee them to fit the bike I took them off of; and any other years on models mentioned are to help people find parts that may work for them, not a guarantee of fitment. I pride myself in good customer service, accurate descriptions, and low prices. There is no feasible way for me to list or confirm every possible fitment while keeping my prices low. If you're not sure, check with your local dealer, or compare part numbers at an online oem supplier like motosport. BUT I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT EVERY PART I SELL IS SOLD EXACTLY AS PICTURED AND AS-IS. It is also possible that over the life of the bike that I'm parting out, that parts were changed to something other than what was put on at the assembly line. So, where am I going with all of this? I wont stick anybody with parts they don't want or can't use. I accept returns, and my great feedback speaks for itself; seriously, read through some of it.... I treat other riders(that's you) how I would want to be treated; but I ask that you do the same for me in two ways. 1- having realistic expectations when your buying used parts. 2- if something is not right; let me know and give me a chance to make it right for you before opening a dispute or leaving feedback. I've never had anybody who has contacted me with an issue not end up completely satisfied. I aim for 5 star service 100% of the time. If I'm not achieving that, please let me know how I can improve.

Thanks!

IAT Crosswind II concept (w/ Gallery)

Wed, 28 Apr 2010

The Crosswind II concept was one of three very competently resolved full-size models displayed on IAT's large stand at the Beijing motor show. A development of the Cross-CoupĂ© model seen two years ago in Beijing. It's a simple concept: the top half is coupĂ©, the lower half has a tough offroader aesthetic,  and it's powered by a 150kW electric motor.

New Range Rover Sport gets Best 4×4 Award from 4×4 Magazine The all new Range Rover Sport finally gives Land Rover a sporty model that offers what its name says – a sporty 4×4. But it’s not just that the new Range Rover Sport can do the properly sporty on-road bit properly, it’s that it’s able to do so without sacrificing any of the off-road prowess that’s made Land Rover’s name. That’s been demonstrated by the award by 4×4 Magazine of their best overall 4×4 gong for 2014, knocking its full size sibling – the new Range Rover – in to second place.

Cars Land comes alive

Thu, 14 Jun 2012

It's like stepping through the movie screen—or the looking glass, or maybe the windshield—and right into your favorite animated car movie. After five long years of painstaking work and three years of construction, Disney and Pixar have finished a splendid collaboration to bring the town of Radiator Springs to full-size, three-dimensional life at Cars Land, opening June 15 at Disney California Adventure next door to Disneyland. Now you can take a stroll down the main drag of Radiator Springs, which, you'll recall from the movie, is “the cutest little town in Carburetor County.” The 12-acre attraction has every building and bauble from the movie, from Flo's V8 Caf
