BMW has released new images and a lengthy press release detailing the design process for the new 7 Series sedan, set to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October. We'll spare you the hyperbole here, but stay tuned for a Design Review of the Munich-based automaker's new range topping vehicle once we've seen the car in the metal in Paris. The Aston Martin DBS Carbon Black It’s been a little while since we had a limited edition from Aston Martin, and just like Land Rover where we got the Freelander 2 Sport and the Freelander 2 White & Black in two days, we;ve got a pair of new cars from Aston Martin together – The Aston Martin DBS Carbon Black and the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Carbon Black. I suppose if you’re Aston Martin and you’re looking for a way to move a few extra cars you may as well pick the two most powerful versions of your cars to have a go. Both Carbon Black Models get the same paint job; a hand painted effort which takes 50 hours to apply and quality check.

Alfa's North America return pushed to 2013

Alfa Romeo's return to North America has been delayed at least a half year partly because Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne is not satisfied with the design of the cars that will lead the brand's comeback in the crucial market, people with direct knowledge of the matter told Automotive News Europe. The delay also is a serious blow to Alfa in Europe because without the Giulia mid-sized sedan and station wagon the automaker will have one of the weakest premium brand lineups in Europe.
