Morgan to fight car firm ousting
Thu, 17 Oct 2013A FORMER SPORTS CAR chief has vowed to fight his removal from the board of the company his grandfather founded. Charles Morgan said he was appealing against the decision by Morgan Motor Company, which said he would no longer be a part of the managing team or the board of directors at Morgan Technologies, a subsidiary of the main company. Earlier this year, Mr Morgan stepped down as the Worcestershire-based company's managing director and became an ambassador for the brand started by his grandfather Henry Morgan in 1910.
Spanish street named after car racing video game creator

Kazunori Yamauchi, the man behind all six Gran Turismo games and their respective PlayStation spin-offs, was honoured in an on-street ceremony by the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Ronda, where the new street sign was unveiled. Paseo de Kazunori Yamauchi runs along the edge of the stunning ravine that makes Ronda a popular tourist destination.

His latest venture is called Fenix Automotive Limited – and it'll launch a new sub-£75,000 V8 supercar by this time next year, it was revealed today.The new Fenix-designed sports car will be a lightweight, mid-engined V8 that'll carry on where the original Noble M12 and M400 left off. Although the new supercar hasn't been named yet, Noble promises it'll be an ideal track-day tool capable of ripping to 100mph in less than seven seconds or pootling around on a weekend road trip.Hang on.
