New set of chrome driveshaft lake headers for Model T, A and 32 fords, will fir other but please ask first.  If you have a 32 3W and want this set of headers please contact me.

This set is ceramic coated by Nitro Plate in Nashville. It is by far the best coating I've used in many years. Its was more bright than all those who have BIG ad's in the magazines, Ive used almost of them and this is the best. The coating alone cost $300...

Yes you can buy this style header for a little less money other places... But this is a quality header, built to last with parts made in America, its no offshore header built by CHINA like my competition now sells!

This set has my new 35 ford driveshaft style cones. Back in the day they use to cut the driveshaft in half for the cone. I make new ones that are very close to Henry Fords. Lots of guys call them torque tube headers.

Built by Gear Drive in Minneapolis (lakeheaders.com) where we use the best part available 100% made in the USA!!!   No one else only does lake headers, others may offer it but for a decade its all I've done! The top shops around the country use my parts, our stuff has been seen on the cover cars of many magazines.

JIG built and use a 3/8" flange that is laser cut, plasma sucks no matter what others may say! Tubes are cut on a specially designed machine to get almost a zero gap fit between the cone and tube. We offer a swept tube header, where the radius part of the bend is coped to give the header a much more "finished" look.  (see pics)    The cone is also drilled for baffles if you want to go that way, you don't need to worry about drilling threw the coating, I did it ahead of time.

My flathead headers are by the far the best available. They will clear the F1 box. The primary tubes climb over the rail to give you about 2" clearance. I have had no issues clearing a F1 box so far.

If you have question please call me at 651-485-8075 or look me up at lakeheaders.com or the HAMB search Gear Drive Headers!! You wont find a better header.

Headers on eBay are as is. KNOW what your bidding on.

Toyota EV: Toyota iQ-based electric concept at Geneva

Mon, 14 Feb 2011

The Toyota iQ-based Toyota EV Prototype It’s well-known we hold no truck with the motor industry trying to portray the electric car as a replacement for the ICE car. It’s palpable nonsense. But a compact electric car with a short city range – now that floats our boat.

Volvo S60 Concept car (2008): first official photos

Mon, 24 Nov 2008

By Simon Stiel First Official Pictures 24 November 2008 11:41 Volvo today releases the first exterior photograph of its new S60 Concept car that will appear at the Detroit motor show in January 2009 – ahead of a showroom launch in 2010. Last month, teaser photographs revealed the interior of the S60 concept car, but now we’ve got a glimpse of its exterior lurking in the shadows. Some have criticised the S60 for looking too similar to the S80 and other Volvos and this new model is designed to address that. Volvo is seeking a racier image and, we hear, is setting its sights on the Audi A4 and BMW 3-series (a task its predecessor never cracked).

Audi sticks with Michelin – which is good for Michelin road tyres

Wed, 14 Mar 2012

Audi choose Michelin for 2012 races Audi are to stay with tyre maker Michelin and this year’s Le Mans 24hr cars will be shod with Michelin tyres. Have you ever wondered why car race teams choose one tyre maker over another? Well, in F1 it’s because they don’t have a choice, but elsewhere it’s different – they can choose.
