To address the increasing number of tracks around the country that are coming under pressure to regulate sound emissions, the Flowmaster® Engineering team went to the drawing board with three goals; Maximum power, Maximum decibel reduction and Minimal weight. This exciting new line of race mufflers is the result of literally decades of Flowmaster involvement in the racing industry and were truly born at the track! Suited to all forms of motorsports where space and weight is a concern while still delivering maximum power. They are surprisingly quiet; netting a reduction of approximately 8-10 decibels over open headers and can be run with a turndown for even further noise reduction. Can be used on methanol or gas engines and/or, as an addition to an existing exhaust system for further sound reduction without a loss of power.

We ship all of our products within 24 hours of cleared payment. Most orders shipped out of the country are shipped with United States Postal Service unless the item is too heavy and then UPS will be used. We will combine shipping orders.

Detroit Auto Show: Volvo S60 sedan

Showing a new direction inspired by Scandinavian design, Volvo displayed a concept vehicle at the Detroit Auto Show that previews the new S60 sedan, due in 18 months. The car has a new face--with angled headlamps, a coupe roofline and no B-pillar--and an interior with the "environment of a modern Scandinavian living room," said Steve Mattin, Volvo senior vice president of design. The car's more emotional look is part of a longer-term strategy to give Volvo a more exciting image in the United States through changes in product design and marketing, said Stephen Odell, CEO of Volvo Car Corp.

Crusade saves Brighton Speed Trials

THE BRIGHTON Speed Trials, thought to be the longest-running motorsport event in the UK, has been saved following a crusade backed by thousands of people. Since 1905, the annual event has gained international acclaim for showcasing top-class cars and motorbikes racing over a quarter of a mile at Madeira Drive on Brighton's seafront. Organisers launched a campaign amid fears the event could be scrapped because Green-led Brighton and Hove City Council had not accepted an application to host it this year.

Hyundai Tucson Hydrogen FCEV (pictured) for £300 a month and free fuel – but only in the U.S. It’s very early days for cars powered by hydrogen fuel cells, not least because there’s very little in the way of a refuelling infrastructure in place. But car makers are starting to push FCEVs in a bigger way as production costs fall and performance increases, and Hyundai are at the forefront of this move with the hydrogen-powered ix35 and its US equivalent the Hyundai Tucson.
