Lexus CT 200h: Price & models
Fri, 29 Oct 2010The Lexus CT 200h UK Price & Models revealed Although it seems like it’s been around forever, the Lexus CT 200h was only officially debuted at the Paris Motor Show last month, although it’s more than a year since we speculated that the Lexus Premium Compact Concept would become the Lexus CT. Still, Lexus has got there and they are ready to roll the CT 200h out in the UK. We got European prices a few weeks back, which frankly were a bit stronger than we’d expected for what Lexus had said would be a 1-Series competitor.
Chevrolet Volt visits the wind tunnel
Thu, 13 Dec 2007By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 13 December 2007 10:00 Back in January the Volt was easily the surprise of this year’s Detroit motor show. Chevrolet reckoned its radical electric four-seater was such a breakthrough that it would transform the way we drive when it arrived in showrooms by the end of the decade. And it’s just announced that the production model will be significantly more efficient at scything through the air: the Volt has been sent to GM’s wind tunnel where Chevrolet’s aerodynamicists has smoothed off some of its blunt surfaces to create a shape that is 30 percent more effective at cutting cleanly through the air at speed than the original concept.
Hyundai ix35 FCEV Hydrogen Fuel Cell in production by end 2012
Fri, 17 Aug 2012Hyundai will have its hydrogen powered ix35 FCEV in production by the end of 2012 with full production by 2015. We’ve spotted the Hyundai ix35 FCEV (that’s the hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle) out in South Korea sporting a new nose a couple of times recently, which apparently doesn’t signal a facelift for the ix35. What it does signal is Hyundai’s commitment to the hydrogen fuel cell as the most sensible fuel for cars in the future and to remove our dependency on oil, and Hyundai has been out promoting that message in London.
