THE 427 HIGH RISER ENGINE WAS INTRODUCED IN 1964 FOR USE IN THE THUNDER BOLT AND LIGHTWEIGHT GALAXIES. THIS PARTICULAR HIGH RISER IS BASED ON A SIDE OILER BLOCK THAT WAS STANDARD BORE, NOW .017 OVER WITH ARIAS DOME PISTONS, EAGLE RODS ON A FORD STEEL CRANK AND FEATURES A SOLID ROLLER CAM SHAFT AND STAINLESS VALVES. THE BLOCK IS A FORD SERVICE BLOCK.
THIS ENGINE HAS BEEN BEAUTIFULLY DETAILED FOR INSTALLATION IN A 1966 OR 1967 FORD GALAXIE OR FAIRLANE WITH FORD BLUE COLOR, PENT ROOF VALVE COVERS AND DIMPLED 427 AIR BREATHER. IT ALSO INCLUDES THE CORRECT BELTS, HOSES, PLUG WIRES, AC FUEL PUMP, DUAL PORT OIL FILTER ADAPTER, (HUMP) BELL HOUSING, 11.5"X1-3/8" 3 FINGER CLUTCH AND CORRECT BIG INPUT CLUTCH FORK. THIS HIGH RISER ENGINE IS FRESH WITH ONLY DYNO RUN TIME (SHEETS PROVIDED AND LISTED IN THE PICTURES) MAKING 531 HP AND 501 FT. LBS. OF TORQUE.
