These are a good set of used DOVE-C heads that have came off a 69 Ford 460 engine. There is about maybe 68,000 miles on them when the engine was removed .  Casting # is D0VE-C They are 100% stock never touched zero port work done.  I'm not looking for crazy money on these.  I would have these redone due to age and mileage. They come with rockers and push rods. All stock. I hate to send them to the scrape yard. The other problem is shipping these are not cheap. When boxed they are almost 100lbs to the T each. Shipping cost would be about $150-$175 depending on were there going these day which is crazy. I'll ship them but on your dollar and I would get quotes from fedex unless you have an account and you send me a printed shipping label and I just drop them off or your welcome to pick them up.  Email me with questions. Thanks

Tomorrow’s world: Fiat's MultiAir engine tech

Wed, 14 Oct 2009

By Jesse Crosse Motor Industry 14 October 2009 16:50 Fiat this year launches what it claims is a big step forward in variable valve timing: MultiAir. It's the first time that a manufacturer has made a properly variable valve system a production reality, and will slowly be rolled out across most of Fiat's and Alfa's car ranges. How does Fiat's MultiAir vary from existing variable valve timing (VVT) systems?Current VVT systems rely on mechanical systems to open and close the valves. Engineers have long understood the benefits of changing valve opening and closing times to tweak an engine's power and emissions performance, depending on the need for power or parsimony.Valves are an engine's nose and mouth – it inhales through inlet valves and exhales through exhaust valves.

Ferrari F150 / F70: Details confirmed

Wed, 26 Dec 2012

Ferrari has confirmed more details of the Enzo successor – the Ferrari F70 / F70 – in the Ferrari Magazine and their web site. As we’ve already reported today that the McLaren P1′s design is almost the same as the concept P1, we thought we should also report on the latest news on the McLaren’s biggest rival – the Ferrari F70 / F150 – now Ferrari has confirmed more detail. Most of what Ferrari has revealed on their web site (and in the latest edition of the Ferrari Magazine) has already been speculated upon, but now we know from the (prancing) horse’s mouth some of the technical details, as well as the look of the new Ferrari from the recent tease of the F70/F150.
