Saab CEO Jonsson to retire in May; search is under way for a successor

Saab owner Spyker Cars N.V. is looking for a successor to long-serving Saab CEO Jan Ake Jonsson, who will retire on May 19. Jonsson, 59, played a key role in saving Saab when former owner General Motors Co.

Mercedes AMG GT revealed – but just the interior

The interior of the new Mercedes AMG GT The Mercedes SLS is coming towards the end of its shelf life and, although it’s not getting a direct replacement, the new Mercedes AMG GT will fill the void left by the SLS. Due to be revealed at the Paris Motor Show in October, Mercedes has decided to throw in a bit of a sneak peak at the AMG GT ahead of that and take a bit of the gloss off some of the new reveals at the New York and Beijing Motor Shows this month. Local Motors announces Pacific Northwest competition winners

Local Motors has announced the results of its Pacific Northwest design competition, which asked contenders to create a vehicle for the region's inhabitants. Taking into account nature's four elements - Earth, wind, fire and water - designers the world over answered a brief that called for designs that would enable drivers in the Pacific Northwest to 'thrive in the elements'. Competition entrants were encouraged to create a vehicle inspired by the elements or specifically tailored to allow the users to better experience the elements, all while causing little to no environmental impact.
