Heavy duty, high stall, LOCKUP, torque converter for the 1980-1992 Ford AOD transmissions (11.4" bolt circle and 1.375" crank pilot, which includes the 3.8L, 5.0L & 5.8L engines with lock-up only. Will not fit a non-lockup transmission). This converter has the heavy duty brazed turbine and torrington bearings. The stall speed on this converter will be 2000-2600 RPM and will be fine for up to 500 hp. Just for a reference, a stock converter will usually have a stall speed of around 1500-1600. Just like all torque converters, your actual stall speed will depend on your vehicle; HP, torque, etc. This is why most companies give a range of stall speeds.
