SEAT hints at new Nurburgring lap record
Wed, 12 Feb 2014Repeated references to the Nurburgring during the press conference at the launch of the new SEAT Leon Cupra strongly suggest that the 280hp hot hatch has broken the front-wheel drive lap record. SEAT is waiting until the 2014 Geneva Motor Show before saying any more, but has already hinted that its new Leon Cupra is significantly faster than the current Renaultsport Megane record holder. Tue, 02 Apr 2013The 2013 / 2014 facelift for the Porsche Panamera has been revealed, together with a new Panamera S E-Hybrid with 410bhp. Update: We published this story before Porsche officially revealed details, but we covered most of the news on the Panamera facelift accurately. As well as the new E-Hybrid (for which Porsche are actually claiming 91mpg), there will also be a new long wheelbase Panamera ‘Executive’ model with 15cm extra in the wheelbase.
