Toyota Prius (2012) - a refresh for Toyota's hybrid

Toyota has revealed a mainly aesthetic revamp of its bestselling Prius for 2012 - designed to improve ride and handling and usher in new gadgets for a more connected lifestyle. Suzuki sedan heads for December introduction in the United States

It's been awhile since we've shown you some spy art of Suzuki's upcoming sport sedan foreshadowed by the Kizashi concepts. But we got a fresh look at the car on Thursday--with the "spy" art helpfully provided by Suzuki. It was attached to a "save the date" e-mail to members of the North American Car and Truck of the Year jury.

Chevrolet Volt prices announced

GM has revealed that the Volt hybrid could cost $33,500 (£21,000) in the US after government tax credits, making it nearly £2000 cheaper than Nissan’s Leaf electric car. The Volt’s List price is $41,000 (£26,300) but qualifies for a subsidy thanks to its low emissions. A basic Volt comes with Bluetooth and sat-nav but buyers can add leather seats and steering wheel, heated seats, rear camera, polished wheels and park assist.
