EVERY COMPRESSOR NEEDS TO BE DRAINED OF TESTING FLUID AND NEEDS THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT BASED OFF OF OEM SPECIFICATIONS WHICH CAN BE FOUND IN ANY REPAIR MANUAL, ALLDATA, OR MITCHELL ON DEMAND WEBSITES. In most cases you will have to reuse your manifolds and switches from your original compressor. The reasoning is 1 compressor can fit numerous vehicles and not one manifold and or switch fits all vehicles. In order to recieve a warranty compressor the following parts and procedure must have been replaced. 1.The accumulator/drier MUST be replaced any time the a/c system has been opened. If this part has not been replaced upon compressor replacement warranty is void. 2.If the system was a catastrophic failure. Accumulator/drier, orifice tube and or expansion device, and condensor MUST be replaced as well as a complete system flush.
