This is a good used Ford M5R2 5 speed transmission for a 1988-1994 2WD type application only, will not fit a 4 X 4 application. The gears look really nice in this transmission, it has obviously been maintained well. Most important, it has good shift forks, which are essential to the life of these models. We guarantee it to fit, to be good, and of course, your satisfaction. The shifter stub comes with it, and the shifter if you need it. This fits a 302, 351 Windsor V8, and the 300 six engine. This is for the mechanical speedometer type application. We do well with these, and it would be great if you will call, and I can tell you the secrets to get long service from this unit.

We are fast shippers, and good at getting great rates.

2013 Chevy, GMC trucks recalled for roll-away risk

Fri, 04 Jan 2013

General Motors is recalling 69,000 2013 full-size trucks and vans that could shift out of “park” and roll away. The recall impacts the Cadillac Escalade; the Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado HD and LD, and Suburban and Tahoe; and the GMC Savana, Sierra HD and LD, and Yukon and Yukon XL. The trucks may have been built with a fractured park-lock cable, or a deformed steering-column lock-actuator gear in the lock-module assembly.

Jaguar has revealed its new small saloon rival to the BMW 3 Series will be called XE. The new Jaguar XE, which will be revealed this year before going on sale in 2015, will be the first all-aluminium car ever launched in the premium small saloon sector – and prices are expected to start from £30,000. Jaguar is promising a range of cars that stretch from a sub-100g/km model (something the BMW 3 Series doesn’t yet achieve) to one that can reach a top speed of 186mph (a speed that’s also faster than every 3 Series).

Tesla Model S outselling Chevrolet Volt & Nissan LEAF

Sat, 27 Apr 2013

Tesla never managed to make any money out of their electric Lotus – the Tesla Roadster – but it does look like they’re on to a winner with their electric  executive saloon, the Tesla Model S. Despite moans that the headline-grabbing sub-$50k Model S was never a reality – and a starting point of $70k – the Model S looks set to outsell the two most successful ‘alternatively fuelled’ cars – the electric Nissan LEAF and the range extender Chevrolet Volt – in the first quarter of 2013. Sales of the electric Nissan LEAF, which costs from $29k in the US, in the first quarter of 2013 were 3,965 units and the Chevrolet Volt, which costs from $40k, sold 4,421 units.
