This is a great running Ford Lehman Diesel Marine engine (MODEL XDP 4.90, Manufacture Date 05 1978, (2,112 cc)) with less than 100 hours after full rebuild.  Here is what's new, perfect reground crank, all new bearings, new sets of pistons and sleeves, rebuilt injectors, rebuilt fresh waterpump, checked and tested injection pump and great head, rebuilt original Motorola Alternator, not the new Chinese junk. It was not repainted that pretty red that people do to entice you to buy a used engine --- a waste of paint in my opinion.

I spent the money on all OEM parts instead of spray paint to hide things. Engine was pulled end of last summer from running and working Sailboat and ran perfectly with perfect temp and oil pressure when pulled. This engine is a beast and has never failed, never stopped once and has always started easily. Obviously you need to have a decent battery to get the glow plugs going. This engine used to push a 15 ton wooden sailboat around Lake Erie and has been in Fresh Water since it's rebuilt. No saltwater corrosion. It's a great engine and I would stick it in anything. Be aware that this is NOT a little atomic 4 or perkins or yanmar diesel. It will NOT easily fit in a small boat. Top RPM is governed at around 2,500 rpm and pushes around 64 hp.

Motor comes with 2:1 Hurth Transmission that has also always worked great. Motor comes with all gauges and wiring harness as well as shifter cables. Basically you pop it into your boat, hook up the electrics and diesel and off you go motoring into the sunset, seriously!!!!!

If you don't know much about this engine, it is one of the most dependable diesels ever built. The motor is basically a Peugeot (French Car Company) delivery van motor that was built for Peugeot by Indenor of France. Ford Lehman added their parts to this engine for marine use. It is very similar to the car XD2 Peugeot motor that you still see in all of north africa and middle east running currently because they are indestructible, period! The main difference is that the xdp90 versus the xd2 motor is straight up and down versus at a 15? degree angle to fit it under the hood of the car. If you know a little about the world - you will know the Peugeot's I am talking about and you see them in the news coverage all the time in the background. They are kick A motors, period!

This Indenor motor was also used by Volvo Marine for a while and Mahindra as a tractor motor and parts are pretty easy to find. I don't think you will need any parts as this motor has never given me any problems and with less than 100 hours on rebuild it should run for a long, long time. This is really a great deal if you can use the motor for your boat or other marine application. Local pickup only. It will fit into a truck bed just fine...

There are other engines listed under Ford Lehman and people telling you these take Ford parts... that it absolute junk. This is NOT a Ford tractor engine.

Obviously this is a used motor and I do not offer any guarantees or refunds. What you see is what you get as is always the case with used marine motors. This motor is also for sale locally and I will delist it if I feel like it.

Non Refundable Paypal Deposit of $500 within 24hrs after purchase.  Will accept Cash at local pickup of engine. Pickup within 14 days of end of Purchase.

I have no means to ship or crate it, so local pickup only... or you have to have a shipper pick it up, all your obligation. It's in central ohio... 6 hours from East coast,  2 hours from Lake Erie and easily accessible via interstate.

Reserve right to cancel any purchase I deem to be fraudulent.

I can provide video of running motor upon request...

New Mercedes ML (2012) Revealed

Tue, 07 Jun 2011

The Mercedes ML grows up for 2012 The imminent demise of the big SUV has been predicted by the hair-shirt-wearing, green halo brigade for years, but cars like the new 2012 Mercedes ML are like every successful creation – they evolve to survive. So the news that’s come with the first photos of the 2012 ML that we will see the big Mercedes SUV sporting a lowly four-pot is much less of a shock than it would have been a few years ago. But it’s much less of a shock because four-pot turbos have evolved to give us more than a six-pot would have done just a few years before, which makes a 4-pot in a Mercedes ML almost appealing.
