This auction is for an original Ford and Mercury Thermal Vacuum Switch part # C8AE-A and date coded 8-H-67 for 390 GT and 428 CJ and Boss 302 applications.It is in good condition, though not perfect. It has a very a legible part # and date code, nice brass nut, and has been media cleaned and cleared to seal it. It does have some mild erosion where the casting meets the brass, and some of the ports were cast a little crooked. Please refer to the pictures to see these defects. It could be used in Shelby Fairlane Cougar Torino Mustang and others..

New speed cameras planned for motorways
Wed, 05 Feb 2014NEW SPEED CAMERAS painted grey and placed along large sections of the UK’s motorway could be introduced within two years. The Highways Agency is looking to increase the amount of ‘managed motorway’ on the network – sections where the overall speed of traffic is adjusted up and down to avoid traffic jams and to allow the use of hard-shoulder running. Currently sections of the M25 and M40 operate variable speed limits Under new plans however cameras will be placed on large sections of motorway designed to catch drivers exceeding the overall 70mph limit.
Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell (2010): the electric SLS
Mon, 05 Jul 2010Following the unveiling of Tesla's updated Roadster 2.5, Mercedes is showing off its iteration of an all-electric sports car: the SLS AMG E-Cell. While the regular SLS pumps out 563bhp and 479lb ft from its 6.2-litre V8, the SLS E-Cell has four synchronous electric motors, powering all four wheels for a combined output of 392kW (equivalent to 526bhp) and a mammoth 649lb ft of torque. Crucially, all of that power is accessible from zero revs, allowing the E-Cell to sprint to 62mph in four seconds dead.
