The Formula 1 circus has descended upon Abu Dhabi for the finale of the 2009 championship this week, and when the GP crowd returns in 2010 alongside the track will be Ferrari World, a Ferrari-influenced theme park. It's been delayed slightly, but CAR Online has the latest update on the potentially record-breaking theme park being built next to the F1 circuit on Yas Island. According to the designers, not only will Ferrari World be the largest indoor theme park on Earth, but it will also house the fastest roller coaster.

Brit Insurance Design Of The Year 2011

Showcasing a year in design, the fourth annual Brit Insurance Design Awards are currently being previewed at the Design Museum in London, UK. The shortlist of over 100 items takes in the best in design from seven categories: Architecture, Transport, Graphics, Interactive, Product, Furniture and Fashion. Naturally it is the Transport category we are most interested in, within which there are some very credible contenders for the overall title.

College Exhibition: Pforzheim University Summer Degree Show 2006

Transportation Design students at Germany's Pforzheim University displayed their work in the school's summer degree show held in July, one of two graduation shows per year. The show was held in conjunction with the International Transportation Design Forum 2006, alongside work from six other international design schools. The exhibition included work from graduating Diploma and Masters students, exterior and interior projects by the 5th and 7th semester students, as well as work from students in the earlier stages of the Diploma and Masters courses.
