Apple iWatch illegal to use while driving
Thu, 11 Sep 2014The Department for Transport (DfT) has confirmed that any driver caught using Apple’s new iWatch wearable technology behind the wheel will receive the same penalty as if they were using a mobile phone. The new “smartwatch” was announced this week and allows wearers to read text messages, make phone calls and browse the internet on the device. SPD offers scholarships for autumn program with Volkswagen Group
Wed, 10 Aug 2011The Scuola Politecnica di Design is giving away eight scholarships for its autumn program in collaboration with the Volkswagen Group. The scholarships are aimed at students with degrees in transportation or car design, automotive engineering or equivalent degrees that show a high level of potential. The successful eight students will be given scholarships and will begin their studies at the Milan-based SPD on October 24. The awarding of the scholarships will be decided by a ‘motivational interview', an evaluation of the student's portfolio and the submission of a conceptual project assignment, with the election process being conducted jointly by the SPD and Volkswagen.
University of Huddersfield Degree Show 2007

Huddersfield is located in northern England between Manchester and Leeds. Featuring work by the 19 students on the course, this year's graduates investigated a range of themes and produced a variety of design solutions.
